Makeover Madness Week 1!

Hello and Happy Summer!!  I've been catching up on the blogging world after enjoying a beach vacation last week!!  It was sooooo nice and relaxing to spend time with family!!

 I'm sure that you may have see the #tptsellerchallenge on Instagram - I love it!!!  It's so neat to see how creative teachers are and it is also so inspiring!  Be sure to check out the blogs of the four amazing bloggers who teamed up to host this challenge:  Here is the schedule of challenges for us over the next four weeks: I was able to squeeze in one makeover of a product before leaving for vacation last week.  It is one of my top selling products and I love how just changing a few things about the cover makes it look "fresh."  I also changed the fonts within the product itself.  You can check it out in my TpT store by clicking the image.

I also decided to update the covers of my Monthly Writing Cards!  Here is the before:

Again, I love how "fresh" the new covers look!  I feel like they look a lot more consistent, however I still kept the monthly themed clipart within the cover.  You can find each of the monthly writing card packs in my store or you can also check out the bundle that includes all of the cards! 

My students seriously LOVE using these cards!!  I love that they use them to help them write at the "Be an Author" center (that's my writing center) and they also use them when they are independently writing.  

 I keep the cards in that little white basket.  By the way...I use those baskets for EVERYTHING!!!  I'm pretty sure I originally got them in sets of 3 from Walmart, but I have also seen them at the Dollar Store.  They are also super for passing out math manipulatives.
