All About this Kinder Teacher!
I am so excited to linkup with the new Kinder Tribe blog to share a little about myself!! What a great way to get to know other kindergarten teacher bloggers out there! Here is my "All About this Kinder Teacher!"Teaching Experience: This will be my 12th year teaching (I can't believe that!!! The years have just flown by!) This will be my 11th year in kindergarten! I taught one year of second grade before moving to kindergarten. I Can't Live Without: So the real answer to this would obviously be my family! But, if we are talking about things that you carry around with you it is definitely my hand sanitizer! I was super excited at the TpT Conference when they gave us a hand sanitizer in our swag bags! Favorite School Supply: Mr. Sketch Markers! I love the way they write on chart paper and how bright and colorful they are! Check out #myfavoriteschoolsupplies on instagram to see more school supply favorites! |

Favorite Kinder Book: I love children's books and I have sooooo many in my classroom, but one of my absolute favorite books to read is The Hello, Goodbye Window. I like to read it for Grandparents Day and it is the sweetest book! |

Favorite Kinder Blog: This is a hard one because I love soooo many kindergarten blogs! Here are just some of the ones I love to read! I met Hadar from Miss Kindergarten, Greg from The Kindergarten Smorgasboard, and Maria from Kinder Craze in Vegas - they were all so nice! I knew Alex from The Kindergarten Connection and Suzanne from Kindergarten Planet seemed like the sweetest people and going to Vegas confirmed that! I'm so glad I got to spend some time with them in Vegas. I love their blogs! I have to give a shout-out to a fellow Maryland teacher's blog that I love reading. Whenever Erin over at Kindergarten Dragons comments on my blog, she always leaves the most thoughtful comments! I'm even more excited (is that possible!) to read Jennifer's blog over at First Grade Blue Skies since she is teaching kindergarten this year! I started using her directed drawings with my students this past year and they are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!! I also met her in Vegas and she is super sweet! And finally, I know Kristin from A Teeny Tiny Teacher teaches first grade, but have you seen her blog?!?! She is hilarious and I seriously feel like I am listening to someone talking to me and telling a story when I read her blog!! I Love Kindergarten Because: I love seeing the growth they make in one school year. Seriously, it is so amazing to see what they learn and how they grow in one year. I love seeing the growth they make in writing! Can't wait to read more about other kindergarten teachers! If you are a kindergarten teacher, you can linkup by clicking the image below!

ReplyDeleteThe growth the kids make in writing is truly amazing. People never believe it when I tell them what kids are expected to write at the end of kindergarten, but they definitely rise to the occasion!
